Koinonia de Letran, One of the pioneer and recognized non academic student organization in Letran Calamba, the organization commits itself to enrich the spiritual life of Letranites. Through its outreach programs and related activities, it seeks to provide its members the full development of their social and spiritual endowment for them to enjoy and appreciate reasonable quality of life and to contribute to the upliftment of our community.

HISTORY

Koi-no-nia,
from the greek word "Koinos", meaning community, and from Latin word means fellowship of God. -- Thus, Koinonia de Letran can also be called The Community of Letran.

Former Rector Fr. Jessie James Lorete, O.P. on January 30, 1980, founded Koinonia de Letran during the first year of the school's existence. With a new hope, he embarked in his mission to create an organization that would inculcate among its members the proper values of a true Christian, promote camaraderie among each other, and enlighten them about their roles/duties on their community and render service to it.
